The Red Stain That Spoke the Truth

The Red Stain That Spoke the Truth

He was found unconscious beside a shattered glass table, red liquid pooling near his head. At first glance, it seemed like wine.

But forensic luminol testing revealed otherwise — human blood.

What cracked the case wide open?

Bloodstain Pattern Analysis (BPA)

Analysts noted impact scatter — tiny droplets scattered in a radiating pattern.

The angle of impact was ~42°, and the droplets on the wall followed a cast-off arc, typical when a weapon is swung.
Further examination of satellite stains around the main pool confirmed a secondary impact — likely the victim hitting the floor after the first blow.

Crucially, the directionality showed the victim was struck from behind while seated — not while falling. No arterial spray, no void pattern… just a single blunt force hit.

A glass shard — wiped and hidden — was later found behind the curtain.

DNA on the handle matched a known associate.

Conclusion:
Not a stumble. Not a drunken accident.
The blood spatter told the truth — someone tried to kill him.

And the stain… remembered everything.
Because sometimes, blood speaks louder than words.
